On Heaven & Eternity

"In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also."

Jesús nos asegura que el cielo es un lugar preparado donde estaremos con Él, y promete llevarnos allí.

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.""

El cielo es un lugar libre de tristeza, dolor y muerte, donde Dios trae completo consuelo y sanidad.

"For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself."

Como ciudadanos del cielo, esperamos el regreso de Jesús, donde nos transformará para que seamos como Él.

"Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

El cielo es un lugar de recompensa y alegría para aquellos que han sido fieles, a pesar de los desafíos terrenales.

"There will be no night, and they need no lamp light or sun light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever."

En el cielo, Dios mismo es nuestra luz, y viviremos y reinaremos con Él eternamente.

"But as it is written, "Things which an eye didn't see, and an ear didn't hear, which didn't enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.""

El Cielo guarda maravillas más allá de nuestro entendimiento, preparadas por Dios para los que le aman.

""Don't lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don't break through and steal;"

Jesús nos anima a concentrarnos en los tesoros eternos del cielo, que son seguros y eternos.

"For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens."

Nuestros cuerpos terrenales son temporales, pero Dios nos ha preparado un hogar eterno en el cielo.

"For we don't have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come."

La tierra no es nuestro hogar permanente; esperamos la ciudad eterna que Dios ha preparado en el cielo.

"If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth."

Como creyentes, se nos anima a enfocarnos en el cielo y vivir en anticipación de la vida eterna con Cristo.

"They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun won't beat on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.""

En el cielo, Dios provee todo lo que necesitamos, y Jesús cuida de nosotros, quitando todo sufrimiento y pena.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

Por medio de la fe en Jesús, recibimos la promesa de la vida eterna en el cielo con Dios.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn't fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,"

Nuestra herencia celestial es segura y eterna, garantizada por la resurrección de Jesús.

"Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.""

Jesús enseña que guardar un tesoro en el cielo implica amor sacrificado y generosidad.

"I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband."

El cielo se describe como una ciudad gloriosa, bellamente preparada para el pueblo de Dios.

"And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen."

Dios promete protegernos y finalmente llevarnos sanos y salvos a Su reino celestial.

"Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world."

Jesús desea que estemos con Él en el cielo, compartiendo Su gloria y amor.

"But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them."

Dios ha preparado un hogar celestial para aquellos que lo buscan, y los recibe con orgullo y amor.

"You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more."

El cielo es un lugar de gozo y placer eternos, que se experimenta en la presencia de Dios.

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever."

Cuando Jesús regrese, estaremos unidos a Él para siempre en el cielo, experimentando la comunión eterna.

"For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like God's angels in heaven."

En el cielo, las relaciones trascenderán las formas terrenales, ya que estaremos en perfecta armonía con Dios.

"He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for the LORD has spoken it."

El cielo es un lugar donde la muerte es derrotada y Dios quita toda pena y desgracia.

"Jesus said to him, "Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.""

Jesús promete la presencia inmediata con Él en el paraíso después de la muerte, ofreciendo esperanza a los creyentes.

"He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne."

En el cielo, a los creyentes se les concede un lugar de honor con Cristo, compartiendo Su victoria.

""For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered, nor come into mind."

Dios promete una creación renovada, donde las luchas pasadas se olvidan, y el gozo es completo.

"Those who are wise will shine as the brightness of the expanse. Those who turn many to righteousness will shine as the stars forever and ever."

En el cielo, aquellos que han vivido rectamente y han guiado a otros hacia Dios brillarán en Su gloria.

"But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells."

Los creyentes esperan una creación renovada donde sólo exista la justicia, un verdadero cielo en la tierra.

"So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown perishable; it is raised imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body."

En el cielo, tendremos cuerpos transformados y gloriosos que son eternos y poderosos.

"There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life."

El cielo es un lugar puro, abierto a los redimidos por Cristo y libre de toda impureza.

"But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels, to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,"
